You should make sure that the chosen place is hidden between plants or hedges, because this is where the feathered friends feel most comfortable.
To protect the territory of the birds, a minimum distance of ten meters should be maintained between individual approach stations. It is also important that bird feeding stations are located at least three meters away. Once a year it is helpful if you clean the nest box. Autumn is best for this, because in winter many small birds use the box as a refuge from bad weather.
